  • Evaluations for ADHD usually take two appointments and consist of detailed history gathering (childhood and adulthood) along with standardized questionnaire-based assessment. If medication treatment is needed, it will likely start after the second appointment. Alternatively, if a recent neuropsychological testing report is available and confirms the diagnosis of ADHD, medication may be started at the first appointment.
